Nidaan Systems is seeking a Junior Solutions Analyst Intern to work with our technical team on application configuration, data validation, and integration testing. You will work from documented requirements and approved specifications, with guidance and review from experienced team members. This role suits someone who enjoys working with data, investigating technical problems, and learning how business applications connect.
High-performing interns may be considered for conversion to a full-time Junior Solutions Analyst position, based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Write basic SQL queries to retrieve and compare data, and flag missing values, duplicate records, or unexpected results.
• Map source data fields to target fields using rules provided by the team, and identify items that need clarification.
• Use tools such as Postman to run defined API requests, inspect JSON responses, and record errors or unexpected results.
• Configure application fields, forms, and simple workflow steps from approved specifications, and submit changes for review.
• Run assigned test scenarios, compare actual results with expected outcomes, document defects, and retest fixes.
• Investigate assigned technical issues using logs, queries, and documentation, and share findings with the team for review.
• Keep configuration notes, data mappings, test results, and task updates accurate. Raise questions or blockers promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field with relevant technical coursework.
• Basic SQL skills, including the ability to write queries that filter data and join tables, and an understanding of relational databases.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, including requests and responses and the ability to read simple JSON data. Familiarity with XML is helpful.
• Experience applying technical skills in at least one course assignment, personal project, or internship involving databases, APIs, application configuration, or process automation.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, check results carefully, and investigate why something did not work as expected.
• A logical approach to troubleshooting, attention to data accuracy, and willingness to investigate unfamiliar issues.
• Clear verbal and written communication, including the ability to ask useful questions and document work so others can follow it.
• Willingness to learn new applications, apply feedback, collaborate with teammates, and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or tools such as Postman is a plus.
